The Center for Cognitive Science and Educational Practice
is an Institute
for Intelligent Systems research laboratory housed in the Fedex
Institute of Technology directed by Dr. Danielle
S. McNamara. Research conducted in the CSEP center addresses questions
regarding theoretical explanations of cognitive processes such as text comprehension,
writing, knowledge acquisition, and memory and the application memory, learning,
and of cognitive principles to educational practice. The primary goals of
the CSEP center are to further our understanding of cognitive processes
and to use this theoretical foundation to improve educational methods. Projects

Pal, and Coh-Metrix.
